WCH Tokyo 25 launches limited view seats ahead of next month’s championships
With just under a month to go, the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 (WCH Tokyo 25) is ready to ignite the Japan National Stadium this September!
From 19:00 JST on Friday 22 August, fans will have another chance to grab their spot at some of the most sought-after sessions of the championships – including the thrilling men’s and women’s 100m finals – with a release of Limited view seats going on sale.

Sales of Limited View Seats will open at 19:00 JST on Friday 22 August via the official ticketing website. This release covers five of the most sought-after sessions, all with only a handful of seats remaining:
- Day 1 (Saturday 13 September) Evening Session
- Day 2 (Sunday 14 September) Evening Session
- Day 7 (Friday 19 September) Evening Session
- Day 8 (Saturday 20 September) Evening Session
- Day 9 (Sunday 21 September) Evening Session
Additional Limited View Seats for other sessions may be released at a later date depending on ticket availability.
About Limited View Seating
Due to the stadium’s structural layout and operational requirements during the championships, some seats may have a partially restricted view of the competition field or event presentations. These seats are clearly marked and sold as Limited view seats.
Although sightlines may be partially restricted, this will not significantly affect a ticketholder’s ability to follow the action, and they will still be able to enjoy the full atmosphere and excitement of the Championships. Limited view seats are sold at standard prices.
By purchasing these seats, spectators acknowledge and accept that visibility may be partially restricted. Please note that changes or refunds – including for reasons relating to restricted views – cannot be accommodated. Limited view seats are available exclusively via the official ticketing website and will not be sold through the Pia or TBS ticketing platforms.

Notice of website maintenance
In preparation for the sale of Limited View Seats, the official ticketing website will undergo maintenance during the period below. During maintenance, all functions – including access to “My Profile” – will be unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

End of Sales and Resale Period

- Convenience store payment via the official ticketing website will be available for purchases made until Friday, 5 September. From Saturday, 6 September onward, only credit card payments will be accepted.
- For the resale service, if a ticket is not sold by the end of the resale period, the rights to the ticket will be returned to the original seller.
- For the end of sales for Hospitality Packages and Travel Packages, please contact the respective sales providers directly.
Ticket purchase and resale policy
Tickets for the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 can only be purchased through sales channels designated by WCH Tokyo 25 or World Athletics. Tickets purchased through any other means will be invalid, and entry to the stadium will be denied.
If you are unable to attend due to personal circumstances, tickets will not be refunded. Instead, please use the official ticket resale service or resale services provided by official ticketing platforms to transfer your ticket to another person.
Tickets purchased through unofficial channels are strictly invalid. Unauthorised resale or transfer is prohibited by law, and violators may face penalties under regulations governing special event tickets.
