The Asahi Shimbun Company (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President Chief Operating Officer: Katsu Tsunoda) has been announced today as an Event Supplier (Category: Newspaper) of the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25.

We are very honored to be an official event supplier of the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25.
Since the early Taisho period, The Asahi Shimbun Company has been supporting a variety of sports events, such as the National High School Baseball Championship, soccer events, walking events, university ‘Ekiden’ relay races, and para-sports, and we continue to be involved in these activities today.
As a newspaper company, we will contribute to the success of the WCH Tokyo 25 by making use of the know-how we have gained from the events we have been involved in so far, as well as our media coverage, and we will work to convey the excellence of sport to as many people as possible.
