We celebrate today the 500 days to go until the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 which will be held in September 2025 at the National Stadium in Tokyo.

 

The Local Organising Committee of World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25  will run various promotional activities during the month of May as part of the ‘500 Days to Go!’ Campaign.

 

Today, on the 1^st of May, we are honored to announce our ticket sales plan and the launch of pre-registration for IDs which are necessary for ticket purchase. Please join us to register your ID, so that you will be able to purchase tickets in advance during the pre-sales period, and to benefit from all the latest information on the Championships in advance.

 

We also announced the application procedures for the volunteers, who will play a key role in supporting the Event. Furthermore, on 13 May, we are going to reveal the logo design which will symbolize our Championships.

 

The Local Organising Committee of World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 decided last year in October the 3 pillars of our Vision which are 'Tokyo Dream', 'Tokyo Brand' and 'Tokyo Model'. For the 'Tokyo Dream', we set a goal to 'achieve a Championships full of excitement, thrill and smiles for everyone'.  

 

With the launch of the official X and Instagram, we will be providing more and more 'exciting and thrilling' news. We promise that in 2025, you will witness our amazing sport with the stadium filled with spectators. We look forward to creating together a dream stage full of exciting and touching moments!
