Olympic medallists Keely Hodgkinson, Josh Kerr, Laura Muir and Holly Bradshaw are among the athletes announced for the Great Britain & Northern Ireland team to compete at the Paris Olympic Games from 1-11 August.

Hodgkinson and Muir secured silver medals in the 800m and 1500m respectively in Tokyo, while Kerr claimed 1500m bronze and Bradshaw pole vault bronze.

Kerr returns to the Olympic stage as a two-time world gold medallist following his 1500m win in Budapest last year and 3000m win indoors in Glasgow in March.

He’ll be joined by fellow world champions Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who won the heptathlon in Budapest, and Molly Caudery, who claimed pole vault gold in Glasgow.

The selection of global gold medallists also includes Jake Wightman and Dina Asher-Smith, while athletes making their Olympic debuts include 800m runner Phoebe Gill and sprinter Louie Hinchliffe

Gill won the national 800m title in 1:58.66 at the weekend, the 17-year-old becoming the youngest winner at the British Championships since 1974. NCAA champion Hinchliffe won the 100m in 10.18.
