Germany's Grit Breuer and Karsten Kobs achieved 1999 world leading performances in the international athletics meeting at Dortmund on Saturday.

Britain's Colin Jackson also equalled Larry Wade's world best time over 110m of 13.11 set by the Texan in Athens 10 days ago.

Breuer's 50.38 bettered the previous mark of 50.63 which Lorraine Graham had run in her native Jamaica on June 19.

Kobs threw 82.78 in the hammer, further than the 82.57 of Hungary's Tibor Gecsek set in Clermont-Ferrand, France on May 13.
