World 400m champion Christine Ohuruogu and world indoor 60m hurdles champion Omo Osaghae are among the latest names to be revealed for the Jamaica International Invitational, the next leg of the IAAF World Challenge, held in Kingston on 3 May.

Fresh from running the anchor leg on the bronze-medal-winning British 4x400m team at the IAAF World Indoor Championships, Ohuruogu has for the past two years contested her first 400m of the season in Kingston.

This time she will be up against old foe Sanya Richards-Ross. Between the two of them, they have won five of the past six outdoor global titles on offer over one lap of the track. World indoor champion Francena McCorory and Jamaica’s Stephenie McPherson will also be in the field.

Osaghae clocked a lifetime best of 7.45 to triumph in the 60m hurdles at the recent World Indoor Championships. The three-time US indoor champion will face world silver medallist Ryan Wilson.

Jamaica’s 2008 Olympic silver medallist Kerron Stewart will face fellow world finalists English Gardner and Alexandria Anderson, both of the USA, in the 100m. All three of them ran faster than 11 seconds for the distance last year.

Elsewhere in the sprints, US champion Kimberlyn Duncan goes in the 200m, while Olympic silver medallist Luguelin Santos will face Asian champion and world finalist Youssef Al-Masrahi over one lap of the track.

A trio of top US talent will clash in the men’s shot, as 2007 world champion Reese Hoffa lines up against three-time world indoor champion Christian Cantwell and world finalist Cory Martin.

The previously announced names for Kingston include world and Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Olympic 200m champion Allyson Felix and world 100m hurdles champion Brianna Rollins.
