Some of the world's finest sprinters joined IAAF CEO Olivier Gers and local dignitaries at the official pre-competition press conference on the eve of the IAAF/BTC World Relays Bahamas 2017 to share their thoughts, enthusiasm and aspirations about the IAAF's newest World Athletics Series event which this weekend (22-23 April) celebrates its third edition.

The four men who struck gold in the 4x400m for The Bahamas at the 2012 Olympics will represent the host nation at the IAAF/BTC World Relays, Bahamas 2015 on 2-3 May.

24 November 2012 – Barcelona, Spain – Four winners from the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships earlier this year, Angelica Bengtsson, Adam Gemili, Ana Peleteiro and Anthonique Strachan, returned to the city of their triumphs in Barcelona and appeared at the press point at the IAAF Centenary Gala on Saturday (24).

Anthonique Strachan followed up her 100m win on Wednesday by blazing her way around 200m of the Montjuic Olympic Stadium on Friday night in a Championships record of 22.53.
