How to play
Make your predictions. The game launches on 31 July – the day before the first athletics final in Paris – and runs through to the final day of the programme on 11 August. As soon as the start list of a final is published, you will be able to select who you think will win the gold, silver and bronze medals. Our computer has calculated the chance each athlete has of winning, based on their past 30 performances. Athletes with a lower chance of winning earn the highest points, so will you take a risk or play it safe?
Points win prizes
You will earn points for each athlete that you correctly predict on the podium. Double points will be awarded if you get them in the right order!
The more you play, the more points you can earn to improve your position on the leaderboard and be in with a chance to win fabulous prizes, including a VIP trip for two to the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25, signed merchandise, and exclusive World Athletics goody bags.

Predict up to three medallists per final. The start lists will be published at the end of the previous day’s session. You can start making your predictions as soon as the new start lists are available. Predictions can be made up to 20 minutes before the start of each final.
You can Predict the Podium for all events except for the combined events and relays, so check back each day to make your predictions.
