The World Athletics U20 Championships return to Hayward Field at the University of Oregon from August 5th - 9th, welcoming more than 1,700 junior athletes from nearly 200 countries to compete on the global stage. For future Olympians, their path often goes through the World Athletics U20 Championships. The last iteration of the World Athletics U20 Championships was held in Lima, Peru, where more than 50 athletes from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games were eligible to compete.
