It was amazing to win the gold medal just with my first jump. I didn't expect for the other pole vaulters to be out at 4.95m. It was a wonderful jump and a great feeling. I like it when it's hot because I am used to it. I lived one year in USA, I went to school in Los Gatos near San Jose. I am coached by Brandon Vence. He is also here and he and together with my father Roland coach me. They are a wonderful team. At this precise moment I still cannot believe I am world champion. I guess I need two or three days to realise what has happened today. This evening I will celebrate my victory.
