KFC Botswana is pleased to be part of the upcoming Debswana World Athletics Relays Gaborone 26 as the event’s Official Event Supplier. The event will take place at the National Stadium on 2-3 May, bringing together some of the world’s top athletes.
This partnership sees KFC Botswana supporting an event that not only showcases world-class athletics, but also celebrates the energy, pride and unity of the local community. With the global spotlight on Gaborone, the brand is proud to play a role in helping create a memorable experience for both athletes and fans.
“We’re really excited to be part of something this special,” said KFC Botswana General Manager Alana January. “Athletics means a lot to our country, and this is a chance for us to contribute in a way that supports both the people behind the scenes and everyone coming to enjoy the event.”
As part of its involvement, KFC Botswana will make a cash contribution of US$15,000 and provide 4800 meals for volunteers over a four-day period, bringing the total combined contribution to approximately P490,000.
During the event, KFC will offer food for sale inside the stadium, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy familiar favourites while taking in the excitement of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay events.
