Two-time Olympian Tom Bosworth is among the five athletes selected by UK Athletics for the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships Muscat 22 on 4-5 March.

Bosworth and Cameron Corbishley will both contest the men's 20km race walk in Oman. National record-holder Bosworth, who finished 25th at the Tokyo Olympics last summer and sixth in Rio, was 14th at the last edition of these championships in 2018, while Corbishley will make his debut at a World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships.

Bethan Davies and Heather Lewis will line up in the women’s 20km race. Davies claimed Commonwealth bronze in 2018 on the Gold Coast, where Bosworth secured silver.

Over the 35km race walk distance, Dominic King will represent the British team.
