A list of municipalities interested in hosting training camps has been published. The Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) compiled the list after reviewing the intentions of each Prefectural Athletics Association and the Inter-University Athletics Union of Japan to host training camps.
This information will be shared with member federations of each country through World Athletics (WA). Member federations can use this list to negotiate and communicate directly with municipalities.

The training camp is an intensive preparation program aimed at helping athletes adjust to time zone differences and local climate. It is designed to ready teams for the championships by enhancing their coordination and team tactics.
